EGGOS - SOLUTION TWO
OBJECTIVE:
Eggo is a playful and fun brand that strives to create a unique breakfast experience for kids. Promoting ideas and play for children of all ages.
​
Eggo has been around since 1953 and I thought it would be an interesting brand to refresh their look and bring Eggo into the 2020s. I designed two different solutions for Eggo.
SOLUTION ONE:
​
Inspired by Eleven’s love for Eggos in the Netflix Original Series Stranger Things, the letters are treated in an upside down, backwards, rotating treatment. Allowing for a more interchangeable style. The “e” and “g” are the same shape which allows for a rotating and playful experience within the lettering. Movement lines encompass the logo to create more playfulness for this family brand.

IDENTITY REFRESH

Originally inspired by Eleven in Stranger Things, this identity refresh took on a very playful identity. I vertically flipped the letter "e" to make the "g's" in the logo - the upside down in Stranger Things! And then I literally just ran with this playful mindset. Envisioning how this would look with a family brand and how one could play with Eggo. Adding movement lines around the logo added a nice little finishing touch to enhance the feeling of movement while also providing shapes to create a brand pattern throughout the rest of the refresh.
